Martin Brundle's stunning Ferrari 250 GTO battles Maserati Tipo 151

This Ferrari 250 GTO, possibly the most expensive car in the world – one sold for $70million recently – is owned by Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason, and was raced at the Goodwood Revival in 2011 by former F1 driver, Le Mans 24 winner and F1 commentator Martin Brundle. While Kenny Bräck's mighty Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe sped off into the lead, Brundle held his own behind, before Derek Hill – son of F1 champ Phil Hill – carved through the field in this stunning Maserati Tipo 151 and set off hunting down the GTO. But, catching was one thing, passing another and there started a ding-dong battle between the two drivers, pushing their near-priceless machines as hard as they could every lap. And, just to add something extra into the mix, the rain returned as they battled, with conditions changing from near dry, to soaking wet rapidly #gwspeedweek #Ferrari #Maserati

The RAC TT Celebration happens every year at Revival, but with the 2020 Goodwood Revival moving to 2021 it was left homeless. But now, Goodwood's amazing once-in-a-lifetime SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard will find a home for the big GT race. To find out more about SpeedWeek visit
